Hey guys,

New to the forum and I must say, it looks awesome!

Anyway, I’m looking to get a full-sus DH bike for about £1,000. I was originally looking at the 2007 Kona Stinky, But I’ve heard that the forks aren’t that great and that the frame has a tendency to snap…

I then settled on the Marin Quake 7.1 2007 has it has better specs for the price. However, I’m not sure how much longer shops will continue to stock it due to newer models coming out… I can’t actually buy it right now as I don’t have the money saved up yet. So… Bummer, eh.

So, any ideas?

Yeah i have a quake, and it’s amazing. not quite a full-on dh bike but it’s a wicked beginner bike

Thanks for the reply, Dude. They don’t have any Qauke 7.1’s this year, Although the Lime Green 7.2 does look amazing, so I may have to save a little more, lol.
