I’m new to the site & see that there is often a ride on a Tuesday night.

Is it open to all comers?
What’s the standard?
You appear to meet at 6.30 at the Cattle Grid - is that the one by Millenium Gardens?

It’s not a regular thing really - just some mates meet up now and again.

What type of riding are you interested in?

I was interested in mountain biking locally.

I live in the centre of Ilkley but tend to do the same routes all the time, so thought it would be interesting to try some alternatives.

My competence level is probably best described as intermediate (hence my question about the standard, as I didn’t want to find myself on a ride with Ilkley’s answer to Liam Killeen!!)

David, drop me an email: and i’ll forward you an email about a group who ride on Wednesday nights. Speed varies from steady and the back to fast at the front - but it is mixed and a good laugh. They ride in a different place every week too. I might be going tomorrow evening, not sure yet.
