hey everyone, just joined the forum. in need of some help from people who know more than i do. ive had a marin shoreline trail since 2001 and i need a new bike. im 6ft4 and weigh 16stone. so ive simply outgrown the marin. however ive got on well with it and did everything i needed. so simply what bike now? i want something that can handle 16stone (as ive buckled a few wheels recently) and something full suspension. im looking to spend 600-800! ( second hand if someone can guide me on a good one) is it cheaper to buy bits and make up a bike or better to just get one fully built? any help would be excellent here guys, thanks alot k

A scott Scale 50 might be a good choice, though it doesn’t have the rear suspension you were after.

Alternatively you might want to take a peak at the Giant XTC range.
