I’ve got a friend who is now unable to compete in the White Rose Classic on June 8th.
(honestly this is not me following my poor form of late)

He is entered in the short version but you are probably able to change this. Transfers are allowable in the rules ( http://www.whiteroseclassic.co.uk/index.php?page=FAQ ).

Thanks for the thought guys but, yes, I’ve got Mark’s entry. It looks like a mate of mine from the running club (Richard Malir) is going to take up the option. He was really keen to find a place so this forum is working really well in hooking people up. I think you may see Richard out some weekend morning. I told him what a great craic it was riding out with you lads!

Richard has already found a “long” entry, so this “short” entry is still available.

Hi. I am interested in the spare entry to the White Rose Classic. Being over-optimistic, I would rather have a go at the middle or long route. Do you know if you can change the distance on the day, or would I have to do the short route?

It says on the website:

Q: Can I change routes after I have sent in my entry form?

A: Yes. But please try to give us at least two weeks notice before the event (by email) and we can change you into a different group before the final lists are drawn up.

But there’s no harm in trying (the long route)…
