Can you do the mountain mayhem race on a hardtail?

I would do it on a cappucino myself.

Yes you can do it on a hardtail. I think other than the rules set out by the organisers you must do it on a mountain bike and you must have a helmet. See link below, you can download all the terms and conditions plus the entry form. Hope this helps.
