James I just want to verify, if you do not have the acceptible spanner size on hand its alright to just use a pair of Mole grips isn’t it?!?

I cut cables with scizzors and then try and wind the cable strands back into one cable.

is it acceptable to use the wrong end of a large screwdriver as a hammer? (and obviously the other end as a wrecking bar/chisel?)
