They are dark, i’m with Mrs Mark. Only in a manor of speaking I must add. I’m sure Mrs Mark is with Mark reaching for the anti D’s.

Radiohead, now there is a happy group I do like.

Checked it out! only decent one was California (just) Sorry not my cup of tea. To self-conciously serious and earnest. Not enough power in it. i like to feel it build and then get harder and harder until it ends in a crushing cresheno of rainbow light noise. hence the name?

Basically - `A whole that’s less than the sum of its parts, a bittersweet pill that’s best taken in small small doses.`

On the Album, Great destroyer, there is a song called “When I go Deaf”, which starts off quietly and then builds up into crashing guitars which is very unlike low

Just listened. its all very controlled! Too many I`s dotted and t`s crossed. It reminds me of `prog rock` from the 70s.
Nobody looses it! Nobody farts or belches or goes out for a pint and has a skinful! (Excuse the ref). Not spontanious in any way. Sorry just not foe me!

That’s fine Cacophony, I would suggest i am in the minority…

But please do enlighten us, are you a chas & dave fan?

One of the best gigs I have ever been to, was Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, He didn’t need to fart or belch as he captivated the crowd with his power & authority (& Anger)

Cacophony.............. - 07 February 2008 05:08 AM

It reminds me of `prog rock` from the 70s.

Nothing wrong with that , I still enjoy making love with Mike Oldfields Tubular Bells in the background. Usually solo, that sort of thing puts Mrs Cid off. Can’t understand why.

Mike Oldfield shouldn`t have his Tubular Bells on in the back ground, you know what happened last time!

Yes are to only band to go solo with! If you want to duo then Genesis` “The Lamb Lies Down” should be on the 8 track! Or even a bit of King Crimson…
