On Saturday, I was settling down to an evening in front of the telly when my wife informed me that we were going to watch something called “Britain’s Got Talent”. Leaving aside the blatant mistruth in that title, it further transpired that this programme involved not only the presenting “skills” of Ant ‘n’ Dec, but also the judging “talents” of Simon Cowell (aka The Devil’s Pimp) and Piers Moron, late of the Daily Mirror, as well as some random bint called Amanda Holden who is apparently famous for being married to a talentless comedian, and then getting divorced from him after it turned out she’d been shagging a talentless actor. Not, you’d think, the ideal judge for a talent show, but there you go.
Anyway (deep breath, are you still with me), I wasn’t exactly relishing the prospect of this latest televisual incarnation of the slow but inexorable decline of standards, until this guy came on:

I believe you’ll find it very funny indeed (unless of course you don’t have sound on your computer, in which case you probably won’t).
