Check out the http://www.tourparty.com website and clickthrough for news of the DirtTribe Mountain Bike Summer Camp this July for riders aged 10 years to 17 years, and the adult camp for over 18s.  Boys and girls, men and women are welcome from anywhere in the world and there are residential and non-residential packages available.

Will be an awesome week of riding in the mountains in Les Deux Alpes, France.  You can do everything Freeride - downhill, cross country, and park - with top coaches and pro riders. Plus there are load of other activities and stuff to do etc. Worth checking out, beats being stuck at home all Summer anyway!

The above looks like spam so here are some alternative trip ideas to the same area at the same time!

I am going to the Les Deux Alps area from the 7th to the 22nd of July, been before and it is great. La Marmotte is on the 7th, Le Tour is passing close by on the 17th and there is a round of the UCI Marathon world cup starting at the 2 Alps on the 15th (which I will be riding), there is also non UCI races (50 or 100 KM) on the same day, great courses (big linear routes and not dull laps) and miles of grin tastic single track! Details of this event are at;

Camp sites start at 3 euros if you like it simple or just go to tourist info and haggle for a reduced price villa, there are loads of them sitting empty in the summer. I have maps of the area that JD locals can have a look at if they want along with free route advice.

There are loads of way marked and well mapped trails there so you don’t really need a guide to enjoy it but one could be useful in some areas.

Better than Morzine/Les Gets or Chamonix? I here you ask, in my opinion it is. For the lazy people the lift passes are cheaper and run later and the best XC trails are deserted.
