Well men, we thought it was a bit damp and cold this morning - but it actually looks as though we had the best of the day!

Saturday - After a night of rain, only two Earlybirds formed a meagre peloton. A fallen tree completely blocked the road near the top of Burnsall Fell. Old warhorse, Cacophony is pictured in front of the tree. We then went up to Skyreholme and Parcival Hall to make a change, and got a good view back down Wharfedale.
Nature Watch! - A weasel near the Valley of Desolation and a rat near Nesfield.

Sunday - 5 riders. A pleasant run via Hebden to Conistone, at the request of My Legs Hurt, who didn’t have time for the published jaunt. Nice ride in surprisingly good weather for most of the journey. Gizzajob gave his winter iron an airing, and was unlucky to have a puncture at Bolton Abbey on the way home.

Now there`s a handsome chap! Look out girls!
A superb ride on Sat.  Steady, no cars, warm but damp with pleasant company and good conversation covering all topics. Before the tree we cleared a `twig` from the road and as we got to the fallen tree, a car came up behind us. We turned to shrug and be smug at the sad motorist as we disappeared into & through the canopy.

This was a proper bike ride that we all long for. SUBLIME
