hi there, i got back into mountain biking recently after buying a silverfox serpent fs.. i bought this bike to see if the urge for the trails i was having was real or just a flash in the pan… anyways im pleased to report that im enjoying my rides through the local forest and thought it time to treat myself to a decent ride.. did loads of hunting around and watching videos etc and got struck on a kona stinky… i originaly wanted an 05 stinky dee lux but saw this 06 stinky on ebay with a reserve of £800, this thing had only been rode once in the guys front street and was described as “new”, which it is, anyways i met the reserve and travelled 6 hours round trip to pick it up… now the frame size is a 16” (L) which gives me no standover clearance, im only 5’7” and read on the official kona website that the standover is the same on the S, M and L sizes and only increases with the XL and XXL frames… does anyone know if this is correct because i was thinking of changing to a smaller frame to give me some gap but there is no point if this info is correct…
