There has been talk on this forum that the Early Birds do not in fact exist and we are just an urban myth.

Well, on Thursday on our usual Langbar ride I thought I would get some photographic evidence that we were out.

They where taken whilst riding so apologies for the slghtly unfocussed efforts, but hopefully it gives a flavour of what it is like to be out at 6.30 am (weekends 7.00am). Full details each week are in the Road Rides section. The pace is not as fierce as some might say, and we will accomodate all newcomers!

Nice set of photos there young Giz. The thing i like most apart from the riding is the everchanging light that makes each day different. And the sight of wildlife being gently disturbed by our passage. Just like the deer lolloping away this morning, just moving out of harms way but not too bothered!
Must get phone with camera and not pesky email!

I think the guy in the Black with the Red Helmet looks like a really good cyclist, I wish I looked as good as he does, especially the one with his tongue stuck out!!!!

I particularly like the look of those sheep....very enticing.

However how do we know that these ARE the Early Birds? They could be fakes? After all there have been numerous photos of UFOs and the Loch Ness Monster but that doesn’t mean they exist....
