Hello, I’m Richard and i’m 16 and a keen xc rider (although I ride quite aggressively as im 16 and indestructible), but I don’t care too race too much. I’m new here so I will give you a brief background. I have been mountain biking for a while now, which is kinda hard as I live in London so any good routes that you know of near here can you please tell me. I have been on a road bike for two years now and I finally gave up as mountain biking is much better in my opinion. I have been riding a hellfrauds carrera vulcan for a while and it just seems really heavy and slow, so I have decided to build up my own bike (Cove Handjob), but I might need some help.

Thanks for that. I looked at the same bikes as you and I also went and looked at a Marin Rocky Ridge, and a orange P7. But there is always just that something I would like to change, or something isn’t quite right. So I decided to build one myself as that way I could have it exactly how I like it. I tried a Cove Handjob and I loved it so I brought that frame and then it is just a learning curve from there, but I have build a road bike before, so I have some idea. Anyway, I guess we can help each other out at this, and thanks for replying.
