Bradford Council’s Keighley Area committee are holding a public meeting at 7pm on Tuesday 20th March at Addingham Memorial Hall, to discuss the future of the proposed cycleway from Ilkley to Bolton Abbey (The “Wharfedale Trail").

The proposal includes sections of traffic-free, family friendly, cycle routes, which will benefit all ages of the community. However, it is not a foregone conclusion that Bradford Council will put their support behind the project; they need to gauge public opinion, and the small but vociferous minority who oppose the scheme will no doubt take the opportunity to put their case before the committee.

Therefore, it is vital that as many people as possible from the local area attend this meeting and make it known that they are in favour of the scheme and would like the support of their local authority in bringing the proposals to fruition.

Count me in, do you want the support of a GB rider as well? Or is that better saved for a later date?
