Fort Bill has now closed untill next season - the skiers get there turn on the hill. Anyway if anyone is interested in downhill they will know the DH and 4x world champs are being held at fort bill next year. The world champs is the downhill and 4x MTB world title for that year and you only get 1 race run down to get the fastest time.
So to welcome the World Champs to the highlands a brand new Downhill and 4x track are being built. The new 4x track is set to be longer, as the track now is the shortest 4x track in the country at 23 seconds long. And the Downhill track has had changes but nothing special, although its considered the toughest track in the world. Harsh on your bike, and to get a fast time you need to be pretty damn fit. Anyway ill news on the track here when its out!
